Acri Picks:

When Gord Acri from Vernon, British Columbia, couldn't find a brand of fingerpick which suited him, he set out a few years ago to make his own. The result is a heavy duty brass pick, with a dished blade and very wide wraps which almost cover the end of the finger like a thimble. Since there's a bigger difference in shape between these picks and most others available, it might take longer to get used to them if you've started out with the national style pick, but players that have made the transition say that Acri picks stay on their fingers more reliably without being so tight as to cut off the blood circulation in the fingertips, and their weight can be an asset in getting good tone from the banjo, dobro, and autoharp.

have them!

ProPiks:

Available in Nickel Silver or Brass, Single Wrap and Split Wrap. The custom finger picks are available in three blade styles for tonal variety. #1 for brighter tone, #2 for a mid-range tone and #3 for more warmth. Both split wrap and classic wrap are available with the standard blade or the patented Fast-Pick Angled Blade. Unlike the standard blade, the angled blade is angled slightly toward the players thumb, providing a quicker attack and release, resulting in an increase in speed and volume with less effort. The ProPik RESO is designed especially for the technical demands of the resophonic guitar player. Its' innovative angled blade (angled toward the player's little finger) let's you maintain a natural hand position while your picks are in an optimim position for striking the strings. This results in easier playing with improved tone, speed and volume.

Fingerpicks are $3.25 each, thumbpicks $5.00.
